What are major issues when lowering?

LMAO at the million miles an hour into driveway part.

But I now have memorized every single pothole for any street that I have ventured down since my car was lowered. I know which lane is the smoothest over bridges and when to change lanes to avoid potholes.

Like he said, potholes = black death.

Yup potholes = major suckage... I wish I had a camera that would take pics of my face right before/during hitting a pothole... It would be quite the funny photo album... A bunch of me making "Oh Crap!" faces. (boom05)(shocked)

dude that was crazy when he pulled in.
and train tracks are the worst
cause they have like a double pot hole effect.

Yea make sure that there isn't a train within looking distance before crossing the railroad tracks because that's how long it will take you to get over them. Lol jk but take it slow over anything like that and you should be fine. As far as your struts go, if you're really antsy to put the springs on, you should be fine with stock struts for a little while. If you drive very very cautiously, they should hold up for a while. The best thing is to pick up a set of tokico blues if youre on a budget like me since they last forever with spring usually and they are much better than stock. Good luck man and I'm sure you'll love how the car looks.

if u have the money get Basic Coilovers or illuminas
oooo they would be great ride quality

You know what else I hate, when work crews dig up the street in the middle of the night and don't finish the job so they lay down a metal trenchplate that's like 4 inches thick then lay down a little bit of tar around it thinking thats gonna be o.k. I know the route to work like its the back of my hand then they do that, I've lost more rubber jamming on the brakes to slow down for those dang things. (pissed)

Holy s*** tell me about it. I once went down this road that I knew pretty well but hadn't been down in a while, only to find out that they had done some crap on the road and put a steel plate like that every like 20 yards. There were at least 20-30 plates and I had people behind me. Needless to say, I pissed some people off and had some people going wtf? as I swerved to avoid the ones I could.

dang 2" is alot
i got 1" and its already enuf to piss ppl off
2 is ridiculous

lol yea i know. My lip does not like it at all. I'm afraid to look at the underside of it cause I know all the paint is probably gone since I got it painted a month ago lol

I have Tein S-Techs on stock shocks :)
Had a shock blow out on me & no other issues.
I had a DG lip installed and had that b**** ripped off & dragged under my car while driving over a rail road track. AMaff can recall that one haha.

I'm thinking about a Pro Kit, I think it's like a 1.5'' drop. Any feedback on those springs with 18 x 7.5 wheels?

there might be some rubbing

Like in the rear? I've heard you can do a few things for this, roll what little there is of the fenders, and if needed mill the wheels to 50 offset.

Anyone done this, or even ran a Pro Kit w/ 18x 7.5 rims 35 series tires with a 45 offset?

I also saw some stuff about replacing struts if you lower, is this front only? And any advice on what to get, not to pricey.
