Just messing around me and Brian took the Mazda SP2.3 and the MX5 for test drives.
It's been about 5yrs sence I've been in a miata and then I wasn't driving. I thought it was roomier that it realy is. I'm 6ft1in and let me tell you I must have looked funny in it. With the seat all the way back my hands would hit my knees if I turned the wheel, my feet had no where to go and I was about 2in from the dash. Oh and my shoulders hit the door lol I've never thought of my self as a big guy but this car made me feel like SHAQ! The top of the front window was right at eye level, I had to put the top down to fit. The turbo lag you MSP guys talk about, I now know what you mean. Man it takes a long time for this thing to boost. Handling is good but it's not as quick as I thought it would be. Over all I was let down.
The 06 is supposed to be bigger so maybe I'll fit in that one! LOL
Then we took out the SP2.3. Don't really know what the SP is for. Hand almost everything. No sunroof or nav but every thing ells. For what it is it handled fairly well, nice ride decent pickup. I hit 60 mph in 2nd, got a third gear cherp out of it. The over all quality of it was nice except for the headliner and the visors. They made it feel cheap in a way. But I wasn't as let down with it as I was the MX5. I'm mixed on the sterio, it's better then the stock but not as good as mine. And it looks like it would be hell to put in a new one.

God they tried hard to sell me a car, Even was gona let me take the loaded RX8 out. But I'm not intrested in it. They did say that the speed3 was in testing and should be around 230-240hp. But who knows.
