Texas people drive stupid in snow. I just went around the corner to get a couple of movies, and when On the way back, there were folks on my ass, and trying to pass me. :wtf: If they would have hit me.....:mad: I'm just glad that was able to drive safeley to the damn store.

sorry to hear that. although it's not better here in indiana. last week when the blizzard hit people could barely see 100 yards away and they were still going 30 mph over the speed limit.

I am begining to think I am among the antique as far as MSP owners go Well except AGR. He looks to be a wee bit beyond even I the older of the MSP drivers. I have a sweet LAN session to attend this weekend in Fort Worth. Any of you guys have computers? I normally bring 3 boxes with me. I have 6 total and a laptop. I only have one 18'' LCD now all the rest are 19-21'' CRTs. I will be buying another 18'' LCD next month. I have a 9700 Pro oced 330/700, a Tbred oced to 2.2 gig 190x's 12, Antec 1080 Tower lots -o- fans, 600watt Robanton,80 gig WD 8 meg cache,
32x liteon CDRW, 16 Liteon DVD, and 512 x's 2 of 3200/2700 cas 2 Corsair XMS with ram sinks. Soon to have an ASUS DVD-R-RW.
SWEEEETT DVD burner baby!
If you guys want I would love to have you attend a LAN. I can even bring you a machine to use. Just drive over and eat, drink (SODAS), and game. I can not serve alcohol to minors. This is not negotiable. I am not a grandma but I dont fancy being in the Klink either My buds do drink the brewskis at the sessions. I cant even have the real soda 
Anyway if you would like to come shoot me an email.

linux- i too took out my car in the sleet /ice and stuff in waco, i almost got hit tons of times... people in texas SLAM on their brakes on ice, slide off the road, and wonder why?:wtf:
not a hard concept. anyways, i did some umm "fun" driving in some big open parking lots and I must say the car handles great,even on ice.

we had a little bit of fun in the snow yesterday.. my friend is a good driver but he kinda lost control when doing donuts on a street ... we spun out and hit a curb and f-ed up his hub-cap and bent his wheel. The car was an old camry and his dad buys cars at auctions and resells them so he doesnt really care abt it the car still drove fine and we all had a good laugh..
driving home i saw a silver p5 going atleast 40.. i was surprised they were going so fast on a slippery road.. i rolled down the window to say wsup and tell him i had a yellow one at home but instead they pased and i got snow shot into my eye from the front tires.. another good laugh there..
anyone ever tried snow skiing by holding on to a seatbelt out of the car door? i cant say that i have but the same friend that was doing donuts did.. i guess hes the kinda stupid driver your talking about....

A LAN session generally refers to a bunch of people bringing there boxes over to a given location and killing electronic representations of each other for 8-12 hrs whilst they cuss@,insult, razz, and harass one another; just generally have a good time.
We are thinking about Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 if we can find a way to get the Hot Pursuit mode to work in mutliplayer like the original which was IPX but it was so damn sweet.
Oh yeah there is usally a pot luck kinda thing to with Home-made lasagna, brauts, dips, chips, brisket, cookies, etc etc etc and lots o soda and some beer for those who do that yeast drinking thing.

hey guys you should have been watching the channel 5 news the other morning..i think it was tuesday morning...right when they switched over to a newcaster on the last bridge going into downtown...she was standing over 1-30 and this dumb ass had hit the inside wall and spun around..made the airbags go off and the guy jumped out like the car was on fire or something...it was hilarious but it just shows you how some ppl dont pay enough attention to the conditions and just think that everything is alright and that they arent going to spin out of control. but hey yashooa...where at do you live..was that cleburne? cause i live over here by hulen and i play ut2003 all the time online..just curious bout whut games on lan you might be talking bout here...i might be interested sometime also. just let me know
