that was in SCC a cple months ago, pretty mean lookin. I guess its a 20k or 30k kit that goes on a honda accord chassis??

they transplant the transmission...i forgot what else. they mentioned it in that SCC article.

the only drawback to that Toyota motor is the low torque numbers... but at under 2000lbs you don't need it... that thing is probably hella fast. just add turbo or the bolt on SC from Blitz and you'd be killin' everything

heh, don't u think people have tried that !? did u see a pic of the engine bay...sooo tiny. i think that adding on anything will just kill it's handling 'cause of the added power. lotus had to adjust suspension for the new engine and added hardware...so if u want to add power u gotta adjust suspension and do it right. which could cost a lot.

attack + s2000 engine > lotus

how 'bout the h22a in the attack ?

Or..... You could by a new 350Z Track Edition, add a Nismo Supercharger; giving it 450HP, and have another badass option for about $40,000.00. With a few more creature comforts.

Having a car with the Lotus name would be sweet, for sure. So very much history in Lotus. I just have a problem with that much money (again), with it having a 4 cylinder. Certainly; it being Toyota powered, is a nice thing from an upkeep standpoint.

And yes; with it being so light; it's numbers are much like the Beck 550 Spyder, with better handling.

Pull that Toyota motor out and bolt in the Integra Type R motor into it. In Top Gear magazine there was a road test of the Elise with the ITR motor and it would blow this Elise away. But anyways its about time the Elise made it here to our shores. Now wheres the Exige and 340R?
