Got my CF hood today that was packaged and shipped through UPS. Shipped from Cali to denver, and of course it shows up damaged as hell. Big ass scratch on the front of it and the two tips (closest to the windshield) all bashed to s***.

Filled a claim on it already. Anyone have any experience with this through UPS. How do they handle claims? What are the chances of them replacing it?

Any info anyone has is very helpfull.
 
you should have gone FedEx....cuz I work for them....really though, sorry to hear about that man

anyways.................yeah my first cf hood got damaged through some canadian service. the company that made the hood collected the insurance money for it and gave it to me. unfortunately those jackasses didn't fully insure the hood like i asked them too so i ended up getting only $200. but it was enough to fix the hood so i was fine. but im not sure about UPS. CF hoods are just plain bad to ship. wouldn't ever do it again.
 
My bodykit came a little damaged, good thing my bf works at a bodyshop and fixed it all before we put it on....sucks to ship stuff back.
