'03 MP5 - Cracker!
Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Becky and I'm new to the Mazda "family." I'm not new to car boards as I owned a 93 VW Golf and was (still am) a moderator at vwvortex.com. I got tired of the Golf so I bought a P5 :)

I like it a lot better...I wanted a newer car but I dislike the VW Mk4 community immensely so I decided to find a new brand. Haven't seen too many modified P5s around here except for one in the U-District in Seattle but I reckon I'll see more soon as I drive from Edmonds to Renton for work M-F (notcool)

Hopefully we'll show our face at some Mazda meets :)

Welcome to the board, You won't be able to see me on the road as much because I'm acctually up in Bellingham right now for college. Newayz prolly during the winter seasons or the summer, i'll be driving around like crazy.

Hey! welcome. :D

tell me.. which modded P5 do you see around UDistrict? I havent seen any that are even remotely modded.. except for mine if you consider tint a mod [ill have a lip and eyelids on next week though hopefully].

too many conflicts happened with the last meet.. next one will be awsome. i promise.

wussup.. read my new thread in the wa section and come help me install parts and party!!!!

Welcome to the boards. Make sure you come to the meets, or else you'll be excommunicated from the Northwest forums.

Okay, maybe not, but we definitely need to raise the roof on the Mazda scene. Hopefully we'll see you at the next meet that's gonna get planned, or at least at the Import Revolutions show. :D

I can't believe you guys haven't asked her for pics yet..... Any way, welcome!!!!!

The pics comment wasn't for me!!!!

OK so maybe it was!!!:D

haha, if someone asks for pics, I'm not posting because I'm not an attention ***** :p

The P5 I saw in the UDistrict...I saw it on the Ave, I was in front of it and I was looking for a parking spot and being careful not to hit any of the dumbfuck college students so I couldn't get a good look at it. What I *do* remember was it's plate was off the front and on the dash and it had a lower grille on the mouth in the bumper. A guy was driving with a girl in the passenger seat.

We'll try to make it to meets :)

I'm glad to see NOT a lot of P5's around here. As I said above, I used to own a VW so when VW came out with the new ones (MK4) EVERYONE got one...EVERYONE has one. Drove me crazy. So instead of getting a new VW and downgrading (yes, downgrading) to a Mk4, I opted for the P5. :)

My plans for the car include springs (can't find coilovers for it, does anyone know if they exist?), tint, and a turbo (haha, in 15 years, right??).

Thanks everyone, I look forward to meeting you all!

hmm well attention ***** or not, we still want pics...oh yeah, welcome to the forums (thumb)

Is she meaning her and the 5, or her and her man?

And yes Bex, coilovers do exist. There are several companies that make them. Skunk2, Ground Control, JIC, and a couple others. The JIC's are badass, but theyll set ya back about a grand and a half. Most people are opting for the Eibachs, and Tokico blues off the MSP or MP3
