Anybody with a injen cai, that makes a weird noise when your driving normal w/no boost, at about 3000 - 4000 rpms, almost like a fart noise. And does anybody know if our stock bov or bpv are adjustable. I think the noise is the bov opening to early or something. If anybody has this problem please respond.

Mine has the same issue. I thought it was more of a constipated cow kind noise... Not that I now what that is.... maybe one of you country boys could tell me... Oh well. Go INJEN!!!

I have the same noise under mild to moderate throttle. It occurs when I accelerate and then right after I put the transmission into the next gear and engage the clutch it's sound like a faint rattling noise or a farting noise. To me it sound like more of a chatter...

That sound is the infamous "Turkey" gobble the MSP members having been talking about since the release of this car. Actually it's the bpv causing that noise, others claimed turbo surge? Just do a search there is lots about this infamous sound. And its normal btw, just the Injen amplifies more. Have fun! and scare people out there with your turkey!

If its sounds like the turkey put much quieter and lower pitch then its just the bov opening at low boost. If its anything other then that something may not be right.

Its not the same as the tukey noise. The turkey comes from when the bypass valve opens. AKA shifting. This noise is like a humming noise that goes from about 3k to 4k rpms when you are on about 3/4 throttle. The engine reves to fast when you get on it, and you cant hear it. If you really want to hear it start off boggingin second and you will really hear it when the car starts to spool up..

yes i have the same exact noise and would really like to know what it is as well. Like spicy said its only between 3000 and 4000 rpm at 3/4 throttle, PLEASE somebody help!

I just sounds like crap. My gf was driving my car away from the house the other day, and it was like... sweet I hear my car...Then to a what the hell? when that sound kicked in. It is pretty loud and noticable
