weird noise coming from my suspension

So for the past few months whenever I go over a speed bump or even a pot hole it squeaks. The first thing i thought of was a bushing or something worn out. I am not that good with trouble shooting a suspension problem so can anyone help me and tell me what the squeaking noise is coming from (what bushing i should look at first).

Thanks for the help,

That does make sence. But, it is coming from the front and the back. I am going to look at the sway bar bushings in the back and maybe try to put some grease or something to lubricate the bushings. What would the noise from the the front be though?

it could be worn shocks, bushings, loose tie rods, ect. I have the same problem and have yet to discover the cause.

I use to have both, sounds like you have the clunk and the infamous squeaky front way bar bushings. check both sway bar bushings, the clunk fix would help a lot but my front sway bar bushings only squeak when its cold outside.

If you installed lowering coils without changing the dampers, you might want to check the upper strut bearings. It starts with a squeak, then it turns into a “ping” “pong” “bong” when you turn your steering wheel. The bearings go bad when you don’t have a proper suspension set up. My car bounces high, then lands hard because I don’t have the proper dampers to compensate the lowering coils, so the components as well as my lower back take a beating!

Thanks for all the help everyone. I have solved the problem in the front and back. All i did was take out off the bushings clean them as well as the sway bar and sprayed some WD40 on them and put em back. Turned out all they needed was a good cleaning bc i havn't heard a squeak since! Hopefully the noise stays away and the problems fixed for good.

The squeak will return, i have replaced my swaybar bushings and i have to regrease them every couple weeks. I got some spray stuff to make it easy.
