weird growling sound

I have a 2008.5 MS3 GT. When I cruise in 4th at ~2000rpm there is a weird growling sound, kinda like a gear growl sound. I also get it in 3rd or 5th at different rpms, but it's never as loud as in 4th at 2000rpm. Anybody else has a similar issue?
