Weight of stock MS3 shift knob: 266g

I saw somebody ask this a while ago (I couldn't find the post though)... I figured I'd post this up just in case anyone is curious.

If it somehow matters this is the stock knob from an '07 Mazdaspeed3. As you can see, it's 266.2 grams.

LOL, I knew that was coming... I never expected it to be the first reply.

I actually got it for shipping stuff. I got a big scale for heavy stuff, lil' scale for light stuff. (I was tired of having to guess the weight of stuff I sell on eBay.)

Well, when it's time for weight reduction on my ms3 I know exactly where to start. A carbon fiber shift knob will totally knock a couple of tenths off the quarter mile...

actually, mine is pretty scratched up too, and i don't wear anything on my right hand. i think the stock knob just sucks...=/
