Weight of OEM 17" rims?

Hi All!
Does anyone know the weight of the 17" rims (just the rims) from a 2014 CX-5? Just curious as I'm planning to move up to an 18" rim and tire combo later this year. The replacement 18" rims I'm considering weigh 22.8 pounds and I wanted to see how that compares to the OEM rims.

That's almost exactly the same weight as the OEM 17" wheels.

Keep in mind though, the 18" rims you are considering will almost certainly have significantly more rotational inertia. That's because the rim is further from the axle. I'm super pleased with the 8 lbs. I shed (per rim) by going with 17" aftermarket wheels that are under 15 lbs. each. Definitely feels perkier and more nimble!

Seems like I won't be saving much weight per wheel with the swap I'm planning. Might go back to see if I can find a wheel with less weight versus the ones I'm considering.

I was surprised as I thought the OEM wheels were heavier than that. Understand about the inertia which is why I was hoping that I would lose a couple of pounds with new wheels even though they are 18".

Back to the drawing board.
