Weight difference 2011 tech package

Looking to trade in my car for a 2011 speed 3... the tech package adds a lot of electronics,
does anyone know the weight difference between the car stock and with the tech package?

I can't see that much weight added with the tech pack. The difference in weight would be negligible. The most weight gained would be the Bose sound system, the remaining parts are a few modules and wiring.

I was estimating around roughly 100 pounds, between the 6 disc cd changer, subwoofer, the extra speakers, amp, extra wiring and modules for the alarm/remote start/push button start. The motorized hid headlights have to add a bit of weight as well.

I agree. I figure more like 25-30 lbs.

you could add 500 lbs or so and it still would be quicker than the rx-8.............zing

definitely agree with that, acceleration isnt that strong, especially in lower rpms

The weight differance wont be more than 50-60lbs you weight next to nothing yourself so stop tooling around at work, and do your job hahahah. mazda's suck anyway to regal will take you down when and if you ever buy that car!!!!

Based on what I took out of my car, the blose amp, "sub" {snicker... chortle...} and speakers combined probably won't give you 20 pounds.

you must actually believe bose makes quality equipment.

the entire driver weighs less than a pound, the enclosure may weigh three

a more pertinent question may be, how much over IBW (ideal body weight) is the vehicle operator ?

i dont think ibw is an issue with me... im about 125 lol.. reason y this question started was that i work at a honda dealership and there was alot of convo in the shop about how much weight this would add... every1 here guessed between 50 and 150.
guess we were all quite a bit off from what every1 is saying
