Weather Stripping

I am removing my roof rack on my protege 5, and would like to get some weather stripping. Mazda dealers have been trying to charge me insane amounts of money for two plastic strips. Does anyone want to swap factory rack rails for the weather stripping? Does anyone have a protege 5 that unfortunately went to the junk yard that might want to sell me the parts? I would greatly appriciate any help avaiable. There are some great instructions under the HOW TOO section on how to remove the roof rack or weather stripping. Thanks

You may want to try http://toprotege.com/ for someone to swap the black strips with. Thats a canadian based board and their cars didnt come with the roof racks.

A bit of advice for when doing this swap, after removing the roof rack, make sure however you seal the holes that its water tight. I put a bolt throught the original holes and tightened it down with some rubber in between the bolt and the car. I notice one spot leaking so I took the strips off and put silicon over the bolts aswell.
