Weather Last Night

Last night I was at my friends apartment and before you know it a bad storm rolls in. It is typical for a severe storm to stroll on in in Texas during the evening. Anyways, his neighbor starts knocking at the door and tells us that its hailing outside. FIRST thing I think about is my baby. I start running out there with my keys and there is limited parking under shelter so my friend directs me to a spot (luckily) in the apartments next to his. Since it was at night I didn't get a chance to look at the car after the storm. I am scared to look at it today. Who knows how much hail hit it.

Oh no...this is my biggest fear with the summer weather it sometimes can hail...and that can do some major damage to the body. I'll cross my fingers that you got out there in time to prevent any dings.

Well I finally checked my car for damage. Luckily there wasn't. None that I noticed right away though. I will do a thorough inspection this weekend when I wash it. I did find a dent in my roof though. It had been there before last night and I am assuming it was from a previous storm of hail. OY! Is it worth fixing that one? its not big, but it isn't TOO small.

Its good to hear that your 5 wasnt wrecked by that bulls*** hail. My advice would be to get a car cover in case of "emergencies" like that one.. Whew!!;) :D

The storms aren't as bad in Ohio...

but when I got my P5, my mom was nice enough to let me use the garage since she's only driving a '94 Chevy Lumina, and I have the "bigger investment" as she put it. Thanks mom!!

But I am glad I got the garage 'cause the damn neighbor cats always be coming over and climbing on our cars. I got tiny scratches on the front of the hood. I can tell it's from them cats jumping up and clinging on, then they leave prints....grrrr where's my paintball gun?!? I'm going hunt'n... :D
