What engine mounts are you using?

I think that's its general purpose honestly. its to keep the motor from torquing back and forth. hence the "torque" dampener.
mostly it would help the mounts.
The only issue is, with the way AWR designed their passenger side mount, the mounting point that connects the dampener to the motor would have to be customized.. if you don't have that particular mount, you're fine.

The interior vibrations don't bother me near as much as the fact that I can't accelerate with vigor without the car "jerking" back and forth.
