Bought one!
Waiting for it now.
I think you should've got the one made for the 2.3 Auto Trans. motor. Tell us.

They only have one booster, and two versions, one for manual's and one for auto's.I think you should've got the one made for the 2.3 Auto Trans. motor. Tell us.
This was posted on the first page, I think the third post.In some cars there is not much lag in the throttle by wire system. But their system switch to less sensitive modes when drive easily then when you hit the gas 50% you do not get it you have to push it up to 90% to get full power
The sprint booster is an 1.3 X amp that boosts the signal so the when you reach 70% throttle the car thinks 100%. But if you just floor it you will be doing the same thing as the sprint booster. As that action does not cure our problem the sprint booster will not either.
It is about feel vs. throttle pedal position, but it does not add anything to the power or our ECU lag. We need something to reduce the dam#n delay in the ECU to the throttle.
It appears many other cars have various driver curves that modify the pedal to make it less aggressive and here the sprint booster will help as it will keep it up near the max with only 50% pedal position. So on these cars the drivers FEEL like it is more lively. But in reality it is not doing anything more that you would by pushing down on the pedal to 90% or more.
Here is an interesting white paper I found.. It explains a lot of what it does

I would be nice to see this test on a CX7.
$25 in part selling for $250. I see why they are pushing these. Very profitable.
Snake oil..

well said.(bowdown)Hey people are free to buy anything they wish.
I just want to help them be informed before they do so.
That way maybe some will not waste money on things that do little or nothing vs getting things that will do more.
I am very skeptical of wonder widgets. Might be an age thing. I have seen too many for cars and motorcycles charge a lot, claim a lot and do nothing or worse hurt performance and mileage.

If you we're to go over to all the MB BMW and Crossfire forums with your findings, they will be dismissed very quickly.Hey people are free to buy anything they wish.

It is a little pass-thru' electrical box attached to the gas pedal assembly that tricks the ECU into thinking you've pressed the gas pedal further than you have. It is for cars that do not have a direct link from the pedal to the engine (drive by wire).
From the factory the first half of the pedal on most MBs is pretty sedate, this makes it more aggressive and sporty. You just get a slightly faster "launch" with this device.
