Not to be a broken record or anything but after searching through all the different forums about HID lights i've come to the conclusion that i think we need a good how to thread or at least a sticky on how exactly to change the stock HID bulbs/upgrade fog lights. Things i'd like to see is how to remove the bumper, good mounting locations for ballasts, how to remove the headlights to change the bulbs, and maybe some reviews of peoples experience with different kits...

I've ordered 2 kits and headlight bulbs, all 6000k from DDM Tuning, going to run a set in my truck for the rest of the winter to see how they work out make sure there is no trouble before i dig into my car, but i surely will be taking pictures when i do it.

Also some people say there gets static on the radio once HID's are installed in the fog lights? has anyone tried isolating the ballasts from the chassis to see if the static goes away/reduces????

Anyone got any info/pics to add now???

thats wrong.

Changing out the bulbs from ur headlights are kind of tough due to the fact that you have very little room to work with. Lots of people take of the bumper (20 mins process) i did mine without taking off the bumper.. < thats why it was tough.

As far as a HID foglight conversion, there is a HOW-THREAD

You might want to check out TunerSteve's thread on his experience with DDM bulbs and the kit. I have also experienced with both and so far so good.

What do you mean thats wrong???? mean that there is no static?? or isolation will not work.

You say there is a HOW-TO on HID Fog Light conversion??? just looked under the how to section and all i seen was how to have the fog lights on with just using the park lights, nothing on the HID side of things

I quoted this for a reason after i said wrong.. meaning there is no static and i have never heard of any1 complaining about static after installing HID fogs....
