Philster said:It's here!! Took delivery of a silver GT Leather Trim with MP3 changer today! The leather is actually quiet nice.. don't judge it by pictures you may see on the net. Most pictures I've seen so far are way over-exposed and don't do justice to the overall look of the interior..
I've done my best with these: http://picasaweb.google.com/faubry.photo/Mazda52007GTLeatherTrim?authkey=IG9wf1fpuxct-2H1nOkL6jwC1Tc
The colour may appear red on one or two shots but it's actually dark brown. Drove the car from Montral to Ottawa today (200km), very smooth ride! My only complaint so far (aside from the obvious: passenger armrest, 5 speed AT etc.) is the heated seats.. well, they don't heat that much. In fact I may be doing something wrong because they don't seem to heat at all.. I'll have to look into it tomorrow.
Let me know if you have any questions on the leather package or require more specific pictures!

cruzdreamer said:Great shots...now I can see the color of the leather better....it's pretty nice! The heated seats won't feel thet warm because of the temperature in the vehicle.....it senses the temp and adjusts automatically....at least that's how mine works in my RX 8. Enjoy your ride!!
Philster said:Thanks Cruzdreamer. You're right! the seats were heating just fine this morning, with 12 degrees outside! The manual says they are controlled by thermostat. I suppose the it takes a reading of the temp inside the vehicle.
THIS CAR IS AWSOME!! Can't get enough of it so far!!
Next purchase: tinted windows (any suggestions?), winter floor mats and of course winter tires and rims.

epharmacist said:(omg) That espresso brown leather does look different in different shades of light. They certainly are copying the leather trends of sports cars. But my wife wishes she was sitting in that board meeting when they decided not to offer black, tan, or gray leather. What up?
Thanks for posting these pics. I have been scouring the net trying to find more pics of the leather. I've been offered the 2006 model with after-market leather or I can wait for the 2007 with brown leather....decisions, decisions.....
Cheers!

P_bouchr said:Man this IS AWESOME! Send this to Mazda right freaking now to show them what they should have done . Those are damn nice. Far much better than brown IMO. If my Mazda was bought, not leased, I'd seriously think about it...
How much did this cost you? This for all 3 rows + doors inserts, right?
