water leaking

Not sure what it is but every time i turn off my speed3 and let it sit there is a puddle of what seems to be water dripping from the engine bay onto the pavement. Im not to worried about it because all my fluids are fine but what could this be? Im aware that after using a/c that this can happen, or after your car sits out all night but my car leaks some kind of water substance everytime i drive it even though i almost never use a/c. What could possibly cause water to be leaking from my car (water/fluent, whatever it is it seems clear and has very minimal smell) Even during very warm days after a long drive water is dripping from somewhere in my engine bay and i cant put my finger on where its coming from and what it could be from. Anyone else notice this?

no one knows what kind of fluid could leak from the engine besides condensation from the a/c unit? Has anyone else noticed leakage even when not using a/c?

It is possible that the A/C is running without you knowing it.

If the selector is set to anything other than vent or floor/vent -and- the fan (blower) is on, the A/C compressor will work even though the A/C light is off.

Make sure that the selector is set to vent or floor/vent and/or press the system off button to turn off the fan.

Otherwise, I can't imagine what is leaking. Does the fluid have any color or odor?

fluid doesnt seem to have color or odor. So anyways im thinking that many times i have it set on defrost and floor which i didnt think would make the a/c run but that definately seems like that could be the reason because its only about half the time this happens and its about half the time i have the air set to that. haha

So is the a/c unit drawing power from the engine even though it doesnt say its on? I wouldnt think so because the air doesnt get cold unless i actually turn it on
