Water in the doors?

I pulled apart the doors to put the speakers in and noticed it was pretty wet inside the dorrs. I know things can get wet (it has been raining around here but I didn't think there would be that much water in the doors.

Is this normal that anyone knows of?

Thanks

If your car is undercoated, stick something thru the holes in the bottom of the door(s) to un-plug them. Be sure they drain properly.

Cool- The drain hols are unplugged. I didn't mean that there was standing water, it was just everything was really wet and I have not noticed that before.

How to protect from wtaer?

How does this effect the installation of sound deadening? I was planning on an install in the near future and this issue concerns me. What have other people done to protect thier equipment, and if anyone has intalled sound deadening, do they have any helpful tips?
