waste of MSP potential

I drive my MSP about 200 miles a day,and I wouldn't have it any other way.

MSP is just a protege with a turbo.

this car might be kinda special but it aint no damn $150,000+ super rare car.

the fact is it was just an attemp at letting the protege go out in style.

the fact is they wanted to make a car that we could commute with yet take auto Xing on the weekend.
and look good doing it.
Word, *****! WERD!

I will say one thing though. Those that never autox, or take it on a real twisty road, or road course, will never know what they bought. The car is at home doing something really crazy handling wise and every owner should experience the insane speeds through corner you can take with ease in this thing. It's a fun car, easy on gas/insurance for the most part, has room inside, and sexaay.

Before Greg steps in

I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED!
True, I do all that you have written, well except AUTOX, and it is a real treat to drive but it aint no AWD 911 TT that can stop from 60 in 97', pull low 12 sec 1/4 miles, run 180+ MPH topends, and pull 1g on the skidpad.

I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED but this Love has not stolen my good sense unlike some who will go unamed, GREG!

Are you kidding me??? My car is getting pushed to its potential every day. I drive the s*** out of my car. I love every minute of it. When I get on the highway its like a Daytona/Indy 500. And of course it's an autocross when I'm driving in the city. My car is designed for it

Ummm.. if i owned a Porsche I'm sure it would be driven as much every day. Why only get 3 hours a week of enjoyment out of it when I can drive it daily for 4 years and still have a car that functions close to the day I purchased it. I'd rather wear it out sooner so I can get a new car :)

its a cheap car haha. in a few years itll be worth nothing. dont get me wrong i love my car... but its an econobox .. i got it for the same price as a honda civic coupe EX. well almost ...

Heck, a Civic EX was selling for more than mine at the time. I think a fully loaded EX was around $18k and I purchased mine for $17k.

well in a sence i kinda agree. but for different reasons. i, myself am buying a mint condition 91 sentra se-r. as a work/winter car. but i also put on 3k miles a month on my car, and would like to give it a break for resale/warranty purposes. plus i am really getting sick and tired of watching my car everytime someone pulls in to the parkinglot at work to make sure i dont get a door ding. but if i didnt put these miles on my car. there is no way, i could buy another car. i love my car, and miss it soo much because its in the shop froma collision. there is only a few things i wish i could change on it, but hey for the price and compared to what i could get in place of it, to me there is nothing nicer.

lol now you sound like my friend that is forcing me to get the se-r. it was his first love and he has oned one ever sinec i have known him, he has owned 7 and he found this one for me and if i dont buy it he is. lol but its a fun car, ugly as hell, but fun i wouldnt mind it as a daily work/winter car, and keep my speed in great condition. it just might be hard to drive that car when i got the speed just sittin in the driveway. i never knew howmuch i loved my car till it was gone, and now im impatiently waiting for it to get out of the shop, but its lookin like a month before it gets done,

i feel u... my car was at the shop for 36 days .. i was driving a saturn ls or L whatever its called... the first day u get your car if feels like you just bought it :)
btw whats so special about the 91 sentra ?

eh the se-r is just a fun ol beater car to me. its not bad on quickness. handles ok, and has LSD. If i really felt like it the SE-r has crazy potential to be a track car. by throwning a turbocharger on it, and other mods. it could be really fun. hmmmm, maybe i should do that, and have my pimp MSP, and my fast ass SE-r. DOH thats the kinda thinking that gets me to dump lots and lots of $$$$ into this sentra.

oh yea, and light. a good track car just waiting. using one of these as a daily driver is wasting much much more potential
