ya, been in a seminar for two days, but ya, got home and rechecked the wiring, had it wrong...(chair), so got it wired right now, had to go to calling hours, so i'll start her up tomorrow..take it for a spin and tune it rightMark, get anywhere with the FM?
update:dreaded gas leak from the MAM rail is back...as i increase fuel pressure the o ring doesn't hold....(bang)(argh)
update: i need to run either the stock or aftermarket FPR with the begi....
update:
put the aftermarket fpr on, no leaks!!!!!!!!!!i'll get some hose and hook up the begi tomorrow....FM o2 clamp works....i'm halfway there..at least i can drive the car now, just no boost for the time being.
i know it's confusing....i took the begi off that you and i put on so i could install the aftermarket one back on and use the car...i realized, after talking to corky bell's folks, that the modle 2025 i'm using MUST have either the stock or aftermarket fuel regulator (only the 2035 can be used in lieu of the stock/aftermarket fuel regulator). so that's why i was blowing gas by the o ring, i could only get the car to run right at about 70ish psi on the begi...lesson learned!Didn't we already do this? You mean the car wasn't running all week?

woah, way over might head. Now I know how you feel when I talk watts and ohms with Oleg. Guess that's why I'll never turbo our Protege5 but I sure can install a kick ass stereo system!
ya, i thought it was the 2035...was until tuesday i figured it out (looked at the web site again)Ahh ok, so you found the model number? I thought you said we were using a 2035? Glad you got it sorted.
haha...i love a challenge! by the way...i can talk a few ohms, watts, amps and volts (ohms law)I know what you mean Chris, the stereo stuff/electrical stuff boggles my mind. But after watching a few aftermarket turbo stories I would never attempt it. NA is the way for me. Working with Mark last Saturday was good experience and I'm amazed how Mark got it to run in the 1st place. Kudo's to Mark
Jeff, you have to let me know how you like that wax and how long it lasts (keeps beading) for you.
This is pretty awesome for a mostly natural waxThis was Collinite 845 Insulator Wax, if anyone is curious.
How hard do you remember it was to apply? I thought it was pretty easy to apply: we basically hazed it on, waited 20 mins, and buffed out. (Although I don't remember how difficult the buffing of it was? I think you did the buffing out?)
Any estimate on how many times you washed the car since the wax? Was it by hand or other means?
I don't think that the frequent washings would've worn it that much more. Collinite 845 *is* supposed to be durable, with durability of up to 4 months reported...Ah, well that partly explains why it still beads so nice.
