Warranty Question ?

I was told that most everything that wasn't wear and tear was covered by the warranty. Does that include the third brake light in the tail ? Its an L.E.D. and on my other vehicles (not this one), individual led's burn out. It looks crappy, but I'm afraid that the dealer will classify that that as wear and tear.

LEDs do not burn out. they are not like regualar light bulbs. the only way an LED will burn out is if its given too much voltage or current.

I might be blind

If they dont burn out then please explain why so many cadilac led rear third brake lights have chunks of three and four bulbs in the led strip burnt out or invisibly lit then, I'm not being hypothetical i see then daily on cars ... so something within those led's gives out ..

Solder joint cracks, p/c board that cracks, laminate that cracks, yes it should be warranty, It's not a wear and tear item. Quit worrying and enjoy the car. 4 long years and 50,000 mile warranty. enjoy the car, ZOOM-ZOOM

trust me, LEDs do not burn out under normal circumstances.

4 long years and 50,000 mile warranty ??

Huh, the Speeds around here only got the 3 yr, 60 kms warranty....what's up with that?

My window sticker said "48 months, 50,000 miles" warranty.

My owners manual said "36 months, 36,000 miles" warranty.

I'm keeping the window sticker to show them if I need work done after 3yr/36k miles.

Anyone get info on the Roadside Assistance phone number to call?

Is this just an american thing? Because I asked the dealer here about the warranty on the one they already sold, and sure enough, it's 3 yr.

I'm confused now.

DIGI!!!! What's yours?

the 2002's had a 3 year warranty but in 2003 all p5 models come with the 4/50,000 warranty (glad I bought a 2003):D

well, I'm not satisfied with that! wtf is the deal with this? Canadians don't get the same warranty on the same cars????? and we don't get the Mazdaspeed mats!!!! :)

Honestly, this isn't right though.

The mats may say Mazdaspeed, but they're kind of thin and cheesy. I like the seats and the rest of the interior. Nicely styled, good materials.

I ordered mazdaspeed mats from mazdasouth.com for my pending msp....I have the mp3 mats for the mp3...was around 125 cdn by the time they arrived....Mazdasouth was great
