Warranty Problems?

Hi All,

This question is people that have a few miles on thier cars now.
How good has your dealer been in honoring the warranty? Have they ever bitched about not having things "inspected" on the proper schedule?
I am just wondering. Because when I had my KIA van, if something needed fixing say like the CV joint, they would try to argue saying "OH, GEE, you didn't have the boots inspected at 15k (or whatever). I always got them to honor the warranty eventually. Now we all know that most of the "inspections" are a total rip-off.
Looking for experiences, good and bad.

I have had a few warranty issues, but my dealership has took care of them without problems..

ive had nothing but BAD experiances with the dealership i go to. their a bunch of assholes out there. when i took it in cuz the rear brakes were makin noises they just told me it was supposted to be like that for some reason. Then after they had a service bullitin (sp?) on them,THEN, they greased somthin up or sumthin. a few weeks i took it back on and told them that the rear brakes were draggin and they said it was my fault cuz i had painted my calipers. :bs: so anyways after arguing with them for a while and seeing that i was gettin no where i just bought some aftermarket parts and fixed it myself. And NOW im tryin ta get some new tail lights. I started a thread on here about how my tail lights are startin to get a bunch of small cracks in em for no reason. i havnt hit anything and nothins hit me the plastic is just crackin. The guy tried tellin me that it was from shopping carts :bs: and after i explained that a cart woulndt hit that high he stil insisted that they would. The next day i went to Krogers and took pictures with my digital camera of a cart next to the rear end of my car and how the cart would have hit the bumper BEFORE comin close to the lights and then all the sudden his story changed to them being scratches because he could feel them with his finger nail (if they were cracks you would be able to feel them too). So anyways i asked to talk to his boss and he said hes only there till noon and i work all the time, so we'll see how this plays out when i finally get it up there.
P.S. sorry for the extra long post but i needed to get that all out. (yippy)
