2007 Mazda3 sedan
Hi, Im new to the forum so I apologize if this has been covered.
I have a 2007 Mazda3 sedan with 103,000 miles. I was leaving town last Friday when the A/C quit. The light on the button illuminates but the condenser doesnt engage. Other then that the car ran fine for 150 miles. Then Saturday the brake warning and air bag warning lights both came on. In addition my turn signal indicators dash lights stop working. (outside lights work fine) and the LCD ambient thermometer display isnt working. (Radio lights in the same panel work fine.)

In reference to the brake warning light I check the fluid and the hand brake.

Thanks,
~David

Damn that is rough. I would assume something electrical based on the fact that is seems to just be the interior lights with the exception of the actual A/C not working. The turn signals still work and i assume the brakes still work. I would try to test the airbags though, lol. You might be best to take it to a dealership for that. You will pay out the ass for diagnostic work but if the problem is consistant then they should be able to figure out what is wrong.

Yeah, I'm afraid a trip to the dealership is in my immediate future. Someone suggested removing the battery ground but I think that’s a long shot – still, its worth trying.

What I didn’t say in my first post, (cause I didn’t want people to think I’m crazy) is this all started immediately after I changed the rear shocks. My first thought was I nicked a brake line but that wasn’t the case – and how could that effect turn signal indicators and temperature display?

Thanks for the reply DuoofDeath.

Anyone what to take a nice 3 in on trade for a Speed3? --- don’t mind the black tape on the instrument panel.
