Dear Members,

I would like to install mud flaps on my P5 but, I have been told that the sedan mud flaps will not work. I would not like to install Rally Armor, I would like something close to OE as possible. If anyone has an idea of what might fit or if the sedan mud flaps could be modified to fit, I would really like to read your comments.

Thanks,

Bebotech

the front sedan splash guards are molded to fit without the side skirts. to get those to work on the protege5, you would have to remove the side skirts.

the rear sedan splash guards are molded to work with the sedan rear bumper, which the protege5 rear bumper is COMPLETELY different from the sedan bumper. not eveen going to be close to fitting.

your best bet is to get some rally armor type. no OEM option available.

Thanks, I just want to see if anyone has made any type of mod to get smaller mud flaps to work. njaremka do you have the rally armor?

nope. but i did have the OEM sedan guards on my sedan a while back. if you want smaller, just get the rally armor and trim them down to the size you want.

you can also just get universal ones from most auto parts stores and trim them to the size you want. WAY cheaper than the rally armour.
