Might I recommend keeping it as a spare? After cracking one of mine already, I had to the opportunity to acquire a spare at a deal. With as often as these break, it doesn't seem like a bad idea IMO. It beats having to buy one 'when' it happens again.

I don't worry about cracked fog lights. 1 because they are proteceted with rockblocker rock 3m protection and 2 I have glass coverage on my car with a 0 deductable. Insurance company already replaced one of my fog lights at no charge to me.

Mine still cracked with the 3M rockblocker.

That sucks.

Well i still have glass coverage on my insurance. If I happen to break another fog lights its FREE replacement.

Fur-ree-bee. well not really I pay my insurance every 6 months. But its a 0 deductable.

how much a year for 0 deductable? I paid 1200 for 3 cars/year.

Glass coverage is 0 deductable and regular claims are a $500 deductable.

I'd have to check to see how I pay, but then again I don't really want to know.

I pay insurance on a 1989 Kawasaki ninja, 1971 Honda CB750, 1966 Mustang, 1992 Dodge Dakota V8 4X4 and a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. I hate paying insurance and vehicle registration.

But any way check with your insurance co and see about glass coverage.

oh so the o deductible is only for glass? Interesting. It might be worth it to get it since those damn fog lights are freaking expansive from the factory.

Exactly

I still have my broken one in the garage for a spare bulb.
