Take a Holden SS-V Special Edition Sportwagon, drive it to Walkinshaw Performance and add another $AUS 43,9900 ($39,987 U.S.), and you'll end up with a WP SS-V Superwagon. To make the change, Walkinshaw adds a supercharger to boost the output to 604 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque, with a water-to-air intercooler keeping things in check under the hood and a new exhaust keeps things grumbling out back.

Making sure you, your family and your groceries don't end up in a ditch is a tuned, lowered suspension with new springs and dampers to handle the gumption. And of course, new body parts and 20-inch wheels do the business in the parking lot. The whole thing will get you to 62 mph in under five seconds. You can also mix-and-match, seeing that the parts are available a la carte and good for any Holden VE offerings. You'll notice how we've managed not to mention what might have been with the dearly departed G8... until now...

I say to hell with the CTS-V sportwagon. I am lusting over this. 604hp and 568lb-tq in a sportwagon oh my!

The kidney grills need to be painted black not body color and the front corner reflectors need to be either clear or deleted all together.

...and the scoops on the hood need to not look like they came from Pep Boys and stuck on with double sided tape.

Factory scoops, blacked out grill, thick 5 or 6 spoke alloys....done deal!

Sometimes I wonder if tuning houses just have bad taste. Who thought those front end tweaks look good? Fire them.

Some probably change the appearance just to say they changed it.

sorry, not digging it, it looks hideous...dont care whats under the hood, i wouldnt drive it

So, only about $70-80 Grand, eh?

It's crazy huh

It's a classic case of change for change sake and taking a perfectly handsome car and bungling it.

If the the G8 is ever reborn in the states as a chevy, they should just have the sedan and wagon (as seen below) and all it a day. A handsome hauler for sure.

It has already made it here as a Chevy just as a Police Interceptor. I would not be surprised to see it make it's way onto lots. Just change the grille and emblems.
