since they are staying with the side port design, they would do a lot better to just supercharge it. renny owners have had more luck with superchargers due to the downfall of the design.

going more into economy and emissions means taking the fun out of the motor, IMHO. i don't doubt that the car will still be tons of fun, but it won't go nearly as far into the aftermarket as the rx7 has.

Side port engine is FAIL.. no over lap= no raised rpm=no raised power=sucky for turbos

I agree.. but honestly.. I still want one.. I will just be one of the few who will actually be verbal about how the engine is a far cry from good and how the car is not a "fast" car.
