ok...

just picked this thing up tonight.

got the latest setup, 2.4 beta 9. that's all setup.

ran the mazda .enc

says it's connected, drivers are installed.

i hit settings, work offline, edited the profile, and when i try to save profile to the DH, it says unable to located (lol) the settings profile in memory

then i hit ok and it says failed to write profile to DH! please check the DH version and connections.

this thing is brand new..and like i said, it says connected on the bottom of the DH utility.

what gives? how do i upload the dang profile so i can go put this in the car?

have you updated your DH? if that dasnt fix the problem reload the whole software on computer and redo the patch you might have had a bad connection or download. the mazda specifics are not accesable off the computer yet we just got the patch. mabe next beata or whenever they release 2.4 full version. remember beatas are not full production setups they are in testing and we are testing them for them.

when you say updated, what do you mean? i think i did everything i'm supposed to!

i wasn't able to upload a profile even with the v2.3 that is offered on the standard msd website, let alone the latest beta on the forums...

Have you upgraded the firmware on the DH unit. You load the software while connected to the DH and hit "upgrade." Maybe that'll fix it.

now, dk, you mentioned the mazda .enc is not avail for the putey, but it's on the forums- can i still upgrade using this, or should i use the one included with the beta9?

you can only acces the mazda specific hardware from the DH will attached to the car. you cant acces them and set them up as a profile on computer and then load them to the DH.

hmm, i think i got it, but i'm sure i'll have a better understanding in a little while haha...

so i got it mounted and working in the car, made some runs and logged two trips. i am surprised that my car makes so much boost, so i have to look to see where the boost is measured, pre or post IC. it's hitting 20lbs sometimes, but mostly plateauing at around 18lbs. i have to figure out if there is a regular throttle position reading instead of this relative one, because the one in my logs doesn't pass 80%?
