VTCS/VICS removal

i have read up on the "how to" removal of these but in the write up it does not really say there are any benifits to doing this. it actually seems that it would be more effective to leave them alone. has anybody done this that has experienced any benifit to doing it?

remove the VTCS and it will improve the intake breathing at all rpm's. VTCS creates a restriction int he intake flow.

leave the VICS, since its benefit is for intake resonance. VICS does NOT restrict the intake flow the way that VTCS does.

VTCS is the valve right at the manifold to head connection. VICS is the valves deep inside the manifold.
