I have been speaking with Tom Long and we thought it woud be a good idea to see if we can put together a track day for Mazda and other enthusiats @ VIR in February. VIR is discounting it rates by 50% and we are going to see if we can line up a few partners to assist, Castrol, CP-e and other potential sponsors.

So stay tuned as we try and work all of the details out!

I really like this idea!!! I've been hoping to go back to VIR and do a full track day instead of just 1 Hyperdrive. That hyperdrive was too short, I wanted MOREEEE! haha

We are trying to get Castrol/Shinebox, Cp-e and a few companies to come out and support. Maybe we can have a Mazda BMW Challenge and have Bimmerworld bring out some of their cars and their forum members.

Sub. Subway sounds good for supper I think thats what I will have. Haha.

Subbin'. This really pushes my timeline to get back on track ahead by about 4 months, but as we progress, maybe it can happen. The biggest issue for me will be getting enough consecutive time off work to drive down and back...

Marlon,

As you already know, I'll be on board to help with all the fun behind the scenes stuff. I'm 99% sure I won't be driving at all...

If it's VIR as in Virginia, it's 8 hours away from Munroe Falls. 340 miles

Ya, I made it there in about 7-8 hours when I went there last February. It was a pretty easy drive, I just took 77 South, then 58 East. 77 going through West Virginia was very curvy, very fun...except for the damn tolls!!

I'll help out as much as I can, but I'm 75% sure I'll be driving.

Subbing for future reference because I'd like to come out. Highly unlikely the RX-7 will be running but I'm always up for hanging and helping out. It's about a 7 hour drive from Cinci as well.

EZ-Pass FTW!!! lol

EZ-Pass FTW!!! lol

I think I ended up paying $40 in tolls...round trip. There's like one $10 toll when you enter WV, and another $10 toll when you leave WV and enter Virginia. Not really sure why the **** you twice HAHA

What the hell route do you go? LOL. 3 toll booths on 77 in WV. $3 per booth.

Hmmm...maybe that was another trip somewhere else. I have a hard time remember what I even did yesterday...damn work confuses my memory!!!!! haha
