View from the back (2d row) seat

On Friday I had my ACL replacement surgery, and today I was able to go have lunch and catch a movie.

I had been chauffeured around in the wife's Excursion, but I wanted to go in the 5. I was very comfortable sitting in the 2d row and using the other side seat for my leg (which is still in a brace). I was really amazed how roomy the car is, and it sure seems a long way to the windshield. While my wife was stopped at the bank, I laborously got in the 3rd row, and felt as if I was in a limo.

Anyway, I was amazed at the 5 all over again. We bought it in April, and have over 8k on the clock.

So where are the pics?! (pics)

jk... glad to hear you were a comfy cripple :p good luck in your recovery!

I forgot to mention that I'm 6'1" and 220 lbs.

Well, after not going to the gym for 2 months, I'm down to 210.

I have pics, but they are really not too appealing, that is unless you like blood and guts(shocked)

Don't forget you can remove the front passenger seat headrest, Advance the seat all the way forward. Now in second row behind passenger seat you put that seat back to its furthest slide back. Now with the front seat back pitch adjustment but it all the way back until it is flat with second row seat. Now you got yourself a bed buddy enjoy.

Only one problem I don't think they approve sitting like this but hell life is short.

But you know it's SAFER in the Excursion...oh wait... (peep)... let's not go there again! (sssh)

Sure you hope you heal quickly no matter what you get carried around in! :)

cool!! just tried this and damn. It's a lazy boy!!. As far as not being recommended... you are still wearing your seat belt so i doubt there's any laws broken. That being said the seatbelt wouldn't be nearly as effective. but as you said life is short and it's way to comfortable not to.

Awww that lazy bor trick is a must in a .... damn in french it's a "cine-parc", like at the movies, but outside lol. Can't remember the damn word lol.
