Did some youtube searches but not much out there, one ms3 with a boost run...

can you guys post up some vids of the dashhawk?

A video of what? Numbers going up and down? It's really not exciting, and it's not hard to imagine what it would look like.

I couldnt use the dashhawk to monitor boost on the fly.... If I focused on the numbers that much I wouldnt see the road. Also they flash by. I ended up getting a defi boost gauge.... excellent choice ;) Now I can see where I am out of the corner of my eye

I agree...I'm waiting for the vent pod to go into production, then I'll do the same. At this point, I just have the alert set to go on if the boost goes up over 17.9psi (screen goes from red to bright green)

Never. Gonna. Happen. Hence why I bought a Dashhawk. I love it, especially the RPM warning to let me know when to shift. It's nice to get a bright flash of green (or whatever color) and not have to eyeball the tach while shifting i thard.

It'll happen...I've been talking with the guy who is developing it, who is also a member of a car club I belong to. Everything takes time.

i guess what i'm lookin for is what you're all describing, can i use the display in place of gauges....

i saw a sweeping boost setup but poor quality on youtube, anyone have an access port video also?

how "smooth" are they?

That's where my gauge is now, but attached to the a-pillar. I prefer it there but for anti-theft reasons I am moving it into the vent when the pods are finished

it's not that hard just to put it in the vent yourself... I got a desk grommet for the surround, and voila:

also, I have a dash hawk, and there is a bar graph sort of thing for the display option. I have it set up on boost and a/f (even though the oem o2 sensor is horridly inaccurate if the ratio is anything but 14.0 +/- 1). I don't have anything that takes video, but I will snap a picture of it later... it's MUCH easier to read than those little numbers, which are ALWAYS changing since it's "accurate" to the tenth of a psi.

also, as a warning, you will not be able to read your boost gauge during the day if you mount it in the vent. the glare is ridiculous. looks sweet though. everyone thinks my car came like that.

A dude at work has his recessed AND a "hood" as you call it on the gauge. he said it is better, but still not great.

it doesnt really bother me. I think it looks the best there, but if I had it to do over again, I'd consider mounting it by the cig lighter. Even though it's harder to see, it would look sweet.
