Video Editing Downloads?

I'm new to uploading videos and such but im looking to get into editing my videos by adding background music, slides, add text, and put multiple videos together into one video. Does anyone know of any good editing program to download? Preferably free ones. Thanks

I use Sony Vegas. Picked it up for about $85 cdn. Does everything you could ever want it to do and has good music editing software included also. It also maintains much better video quality when compressing it to a smaller file size then other programs I've used (eg. windows movie maker).

i've done several wedding videos and promotional videos for church and what not....

sony vegas ftw.

you can download the trial from them and find a serial to unlock it somewhere im sure.... the internet has everything.

If you are on a PC, Windows XP has a pretty sophisticated movie editor built in. It's called MovieMaker and is auto installed at:

C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe
