vibration above 80 mph

i know they all come with weights inside. and thats goof until your tires begin to wear down, then the problems occur. believe me i've balanced brand new tires on 16 inch rims and hadno problem with thew weights. they come back a week or two later and tell me they feel shaking. its just how it goes.

I just havn't seen any 2003's with weights on the outside thats all..I've seen 2002's with them, but they have a different wheel design.

sxates - I was anxious to see your pic of a 2003 wheel with a weight...I was like "How on earth can he fit weights on the front without a groove for them" lol - its ok don't worry about it - you made the effort to get a pic thanks.

I looked closely at my wheels and there is no room to even put weights...

Does this mean I have to put up with it shaking? No one else has this problem?

To update an earlier post: I had a new Dunlop installed and presto!!! the vibration is gone. However, the guy that put the new tire told me he found Fix-a-Flat in the tire. I bought the car used, so i guess, thats what I get. Anyway, I really don't know for sure now if it was the Fix-a-Flat that was causing the vibrations in the first place or if it caused the steel belts on the tire to separate or if it was caused by something else. I'm just glad its fixed.

im doing 150km/h sometimes and theres no vibration at all, even if there is i think its ok coz depends on the road u drove on too right?

the dealer cant say s*** coz the car made to go that fast, even if they told me not to id say "im paying for this thing i can do watever i want" :D

but the ppl working at the dealer have mazda's cars themselves and im sure they speed ALL da time, afterall they dont pay lease or finance, just insurance so they drive the crap out of their cars trust me.

Came back from the dealership for the second time. They said I need an alignment, and the tires are perfectly balanced. Drove it about 80 mph last night and i notice it does pul right but the wheel shakes a bit as well. I notice where the wheel shakes is where there are ripples on the road. You think i could just be feeling the ripples through the steering wheel?

sxates,

I'm getting the car aligned this week. Have you ever heard of wheel alignments fixing vibrations?

I'm a bit upset since my '88 sprint with 12" wheels never viabrated at this speed.
