I think it's time to mod my MZ3 again..I stopped looking for parts thinking that I was going to sell it for another car, but this car just wants me to mod it I think. I've looked at the Vibrant header+midpipe combo and the vibrant exhaust...now which one should I buy first? Or should I just the headers, don't install, buy the exhaust and then install it at the same time? BTW how hard is it to install these too items? I don't think I would run into much trouble with the exhaust system, but the headers seem like a daunting task. Also, I've only heard sound clips but this combo sounds real beastly, anyone with this combo how do you like it? Any comments welcome.

i don't have the vibrant combo i run a thunder header, a midpipe with a vibrant high flow cat, and a draxas cat back... it is loud and beastly though can drone at 65+mph while cruising on the highway...

as far as what to do the cat back is by far the easier of the installs and you may be happy enough with just that. remember with a header comes headaches of cel issues and illegal inspections as you are removing one of the oem cats possibly 2 of them. if you are up for that then go for it but i would start with the cat back it won't do anything to the cel nor cuase any issues with inspections.

I would want to do my headers first and then have my exhaust bolted on. With your headers are you still gonna have the cat on them?

I don't think I'll have a cat, the one i'm getting is the vibrant header+midpipe combo...I'm not too worried about emissions though, I can pay for a sticker and i can live with a CEL...I'm just trying to get as much power out of the engine NA...
