Mazda MP3 (Blue Mica)
Well, not too sure if you aware..but I was one of the guys that has tried everything with their bushings...electrical tape...new bushings...grease...etc...I was fed up and wrote a letter to El Presidente of Mazda Canada....well, the rep called me and was VERY helpful...

After checking my car...they came to the conclusion that they were going to replace my bushings in the front and back, change my clutch and repair my transmission because of the grinding between 2nd and 3rd...

They were back ordered but I got a call today that they will be making the changes on February 18th...so YAY!!! Cannot wait!!!!

I will keep u guys posted!!!

im getting my clutch replaced too... but they are not going to help me do the transmission... i get that stupid grinding btw 2nd and 3rd too...

and as for the bushings... they are not gonan hold up.. =(

as far as I'm concerned they should have replaced the car :)

I'm a true believer that when a customer goes through tremendous turmoil, and has an extensive history of repeated problems with a product. The product should be replaced, or the customer be reimbursed in some shape or form in full.

I think they should put in AWR trunk kit street suspension for everyone. That should help get rid of the squeaks...
;)

newf, I think if you lived in the states, you would have been able to have had your car bought back from you by Mazda by now (in full). It looks like a route that I may be heading down soon. the lawyer is free, Mazda ends up having to pay them should the car be considered a "lemon"...

I would never go as far as saying my car is a "lemon", as the only problem I've ever had with the car was the obvious clunk and strut noises ( which have been pretty much taken care of )

Other then that...car is perfect. Just that damn clunk.

But technically, yes, the car has been back and forth to the dealer enough times to get it covered through the lemon law

How come we dont't have lemon law in Canada anyways? We don't get lemons up here do we?

Yup,
that's the site.

I'm guessing your're on your way through "Start the application process here"
??
