Verizon DSL

I currently have Verizon Dry Loop DSL. I have the most basic package Speed(Down/Up)
925 Kbps / 440 Kbps.

Just checking speakeasy, I'm getting about .79 mbps down and .37 up. I know it's not a blazing fast connection but I can stream netflix, play all my games online and generally have a pleasant browsing experience though it I'm downloading several podcasts and my wife is online, it can chug.

Due to Verizon screwing up our bill pretty bad about a year ago, I got us locked into a $19.99/month for life deal. No introductory changing rate stuff, no additional fees. Basically, the base DSL for $20 a month forever.

However, I'm considering upping the plan and getting the 3mbs plan. I'm guessing it will be about $30 or $40 a month.

My question is, will I really notice it much? Is it worth the extra cash over the year or should I stick with the deal I garnered.

Please no need for ridicule as I know my current speed is slow, the point is, it's fast enough to have a good experience browsing the net 80-85% of the time and for the most part we're happy with it. But if the difference would be significant, I'm open to an upgrade.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks.
