I hope not.. I don't want to have to send it back so they can figure out why its screwed up

This is actually a very good post! Please allow me to explain....

I've been receiving parts from my supplier that have been sub-par in my opinion. The surface quality was not acceptable. I've tried numerous processes to "doctor" them up, and all that got me was crappier parts. :(
There have been alot of air bubbles and divets on the main surface of the pods; the surface receiving the silver paint. The paint accentuates these blemishes and leaves me with junk in my opinion.

So, on Friday, Aug. 29th, I had a meeting with my supplier and we addressed these issues. He is going to recut a new tool (an aluminum tool) which should take care of all of my complaints with the current tool (which was a "soft tool" made of some composite material I'm not familiar with). The new tool is substantially more money, but that will not affect the pricing!

I owe each of you an apology for letting this drag out so long! My only excuse is that I refuse to bring junk to market. I'd rather have a customer wait for something worth waiting for than to have a long list of unsatisfied customers.

There have been gaps in my posting frequency, and that's due to the fact that I've been put on 7 twelve-hour days at my day job, and I'm training for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. My days are starting to blend into each other. :(

I should add this to my first post so you don't have to sift through this thread.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop and taking the extra effort to make a great product! (2thumbs)

Thanks for the update Jim, I would much rather wait for a quality product. Cant wait for the end result.

I think that we all can appreciate the attention to detail. Sometimes I wish other manufacturers/vendors would do the same.

Take all the time in the world... my car in going into storage for the winter at the end of next month and I won't be installing anything more until spring next year. So essentially I'm in no rush and would prefer that the quality of product be high. Thanks for you attention to detail and keeping us in the loop.
