It is confirmed. The CX7 drivers vent is the same size as the Mazda 6!

Also, the center vent assembly the same part (that triple pod module). I removed the module from both a CX-7 and a 6, and they have the same part number on them. I even temporarily installed one unit into the other....identical! The CX-7 just has the extra foam added.

Can you list the part number for the Mazda 6/CX-7 vent. Is it the same size as the RX-8? I want to replace my all black vents with the aluminum bezel vents. They only list the RX-8's online. Please help. Thanks.

If your vent has a part number prefix of "CJ6A", it's the same vent. However, the part numbers that are the same for 6 & CX7 are for the center vents. The outers are different numbers and are not common between the two. They are apparently the same size, and interchangeable, but I don't think they are the same part number.

I couldn't tell for sure from your post, but if I'm reading between the lines correctly, you're interested in two VentPods, yes?

Okay people, we're going to kick off the tool for the 3 either tomorrow or Monday! Yayyy!!
We are going to hold off on the 6 for now. The center vent style pod will be our prime direction for that model, but we can't launch more than one product at a time right now.
With all the interest in the 3, it shouldn't be long before we can start on the MS6 Center VentPod.
