ok, so i finally got around to talking with my dealer about modding/etc. basically, they said any mods will void most if not all of the warranty. even something as simple as a boost gauge. i was hoping that i had a cool dealer, but obviously not.

true, true. honestly, at this point, i've done nothing to the car and don't really want the hassle of arguing with them if i did. the attitude they gave was clearly one of "we'll look for any excuse to void out the warranty on this mazda experiment."

as for another dealer, closest one is about 2 hours away, little far for me.

i will most likely just hold off on mods (like i told myself i was going to do anyways) until the warranty is almost over. this is my daily, and i don't have the extra money to pay for stuff out of pocket if anything does go wrong.
