Hi, I'm at my wits end
I have a 2016 diesel Cx5 which was acquired in October of last year.
In December I had an engine oil problem which was fixed.
Fast forward to 2026...
The vehicle system malfunction came on last week, new oil put in and checked with the reader from a mechanic. They couldn't find anything else from when they had fixed it thr last time.
Error codes were something to deal with low engine oil which the light had previously came on for.
Now a week later, the warning light had come on yet again today.
What am I looking for now as everything is clear 'apparently.'
Warranty expired, so I purchased extended warranty, but I'm so afraid as my previous vehicles given me PTSD and I don't want to spend anymore money on it at all.
Patrol found the following fault code/s:
System : Engine management 1 - ZCC / Engine management CR/EDC DEN SH 1.0 P06DE -
Engine-oil pressure solenoid valve.
Error Message : Component stuck closed. P055F - Engine oil pressure.
Error Message : Outside specified range. Eml light on Monitored oil pressure 1.4 bar on idle 3.0 bar at 4k revs Had work done at the garage previously for same fault
Possible oil dilution Followed to the garage Engine Oil Level Ok. Coolant Level Ok.
