Useful fogs

Anyone come up with any thing that actually makes the light from the fogs useful? They're really good for illuminating the area about 10 feet in front of my car. Not so handy at 80mph.

if you are going through fog at 80mph, there are NO lights that will help you. fog lights are only supposed to light up about 10-20ft infront of the car and the sides of the road.

I live in Colorado. Almost no fog here and never at night. Looking to make them more functional for where I live.

short of doing a headlight retrofit into your fog housing, they will never be as useful at 80mph as your headlights and/or highbeams. first off, they are too low to the ground. second, the housing will never have proper optics to throw the light effectively to be useful at 80mph.

Squeeze a pair of fusion fog projectors into your housings and stuff a couple of 35 watt HID lamps in them.

Works much better than stock.
