USB on 2014 CX-5 read past threads on USB issues. Thanks to the guy who showed the easy way to remove center console sections & cup holders.
My USB problem was it didnt work on either Nano or flash drive. When I jiggled the flash drive and pressed it towards the floor, I was getting a connection as seen by the audio folder for USB lighting up.
So, went to local Mazda parts to get a replacement USB port, and they had to order. Not wanting to leave my center console apart, decided to take original USB port & by using a safety pin, pushed around on the internal flaps to raise them slightly higher low and behold, original USB port now working.
