Did anyone else have any problems with getting there Billet Grills? They said it will take about a week to ten days and its like over two or three weeks plus they are already paid for. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I donno man, Call the place you ordered from and ask whats wrong. The same thing happened to me when I ordered my wing from Wings West, I ordered it in late Feb, went through a whole lot of trouble, It was shipped to my house then back to wings west cuz I wasnt home and they only tried once. Just call the place.

Call and demand a tracking number. What the hell is wrong with people now a days? I went through the same thing with ARD. Took them like 3 weeks to ship my GC's.

3 weeks.....HA

TRy 3 months to get a can of caliper paint sent to me. After 6 weeks, they finally send something, of course the wrong thing, and it took another 6 weeks to finally get the right paint, and then another month after that to get my visa straightened out.

I would call them though.

A friend of mine ordered a s*** load of stuff from Options Auto (www.optauto.com) and like a month later it wasn't there, so he tried to call them but never got an answer. He finally gave up. Like last week they called him and told him the stuff shipped out. He ordered it like 3 months ago.

UPS is truely !!@#!@#$ garbage. PURE TRASH. It's like they drive by your house at 50mph and yell "we have a package for youuuuu......" and if you're not out waiting for them they don't deliver. Fortunately, in all my experience with them they at least leave a sticker or post-it notice. sigh.

well I have never had anything but good service from UPS. In fact, I have even made arrangements with two of my neighbors to accept packages for me in the event I am not going to be home....and seeing as how both my wife and I both work, that is very likely if the package is delivered before 5 p.m. All I do is print out a letter to "UPS DRIVER" and tape it to the window right next to my front door. It gives permission to the driver to deliver the package to one of these neighbors and it states their address, and I sign it. I havn't missed a package yet. And seeing as how if I do miss one...and I have to go to them to pick it up....the UPS office is like 65 miles away....so I don't want to have to hastle with that....seeing as how either myself or my wife would have to take off work to do it. Anyway.....the little sign works....at least it does for me.

I don't even know the names of my neighbors. And can't say I want to. Well that's not true my neighbor on my left we've known for 20 years. But he's unlike most neighbors, he's a really cool guy. 65 miles!!! That's like 110 in canadian. Where the heck do you live?

lol enry.....its not where I live...its where UPS has an office!!! and its nowhere near me!!! lol

Well being a UPSman I can tell you that we don't and can't just stop by once. It is 3 times and then out. There is noway we can do that since we scan every pkg and people can easily track them. It will show xactly what we do with them. After the 3rd time your package will be held at our office for a week. Only then is it shipped back to the shipper. If it has a wrong address or is damaged then we will send it back right away.
Believe me if the shipper didn't request that you MUST sign for the pkg, we will leave it at the neighbors, in a bush, the bed of yur pickup, door, back door, or anyplace. You name it it will be there. Why you ask? Well we dont want your pkgs taking up space in out truck for the next 2 days. We try to get rid of everything. If we dont then thats just one more pkg we have to deliver tomorrow. Not cool.
Most of the time it is the shipper telling you they sent it but not really doing so. If we have it we get rid of it. My .02 cents.

and for those of you that may not believe Jeremy....next time you get something and you actually meet the UPS guy at your door....talk to him....I think it may change your mind....I know around here the drivers have assigned routes and areas...and its the SAME driver that brings everything to my house...that is unless it happens to be delivered on his day off.....otherwise....I get to see the same guy everytime.....and he has always gotten me my stuff.

Jermey states another good point....its usually the SHIPER that has lied to you and told you its shipped when its not....IF he HAS shipped it...or claims to have....DEMAND a tracking number. if he won't give you one or makes up some excuse as to why he can't....he is lieing to you, and your goods have not shipped.....and he is yanking your chain.

Sorry but don't even get me started on UPS. I'm in the IT field, and I have computer equipment being shipped to me all the time. I have completely given up on ups and downright refuse to deal with them ever again. In fact, when ordering a package, no matter how small or large, if the company only ships ups, I politely hang up the phone and deal with someone else. I can sit here for hours and type stories of parcels that have gotten lost, damaged or shipped to the wrong COUNTRY....yes, COUNTRY. It's amazing how USA resembles CA doesn't it.

I will only deal with Purolator in Canada. Granted, I would hope that any postal service varies in quality depending on where you live. But, I've yet to have any parcel shpped by ups correctly. And I've ordered a LOT for the company and myself for near 10 year now.

Funny this should come up now. Buddy of mine just ordered a new motherboard, chip ram etc etc from a company in BC, he's in Toronto. I told him not to deal with ups. But, he ignored me and tried to save $2, and now he's on his 4th week, and still waiting for it. It's after getting to Toronto, was there for 1 day, sent back to edmonton, and now on it's way back to TO again???? I see UPS do this all the time. I get stuff from BC to NF ( right across the country for the non-Canadian folks) in 1 week from Purolator every time. It's practically clockwork.

Sorry nothing against you ups guy. But UPS in Canada is crap.

....ok, aren't we a little off topic for the Mazda MP3 forum?

I actually work for Airborne Express, and almost everything that Purolator ships from Canada into the US comes though us. They have the absolute worst tracking system and mail coding. I work with this stuff everynight. Airborne does express/overnight s***, so it's a little different than UPS. We cost about 2-3 times more than a UPS ground shipment, but have about a 95-98% on time average when it comes to deliveries. The main factor in late shipments is packing. If a seller packs something poorly, then it will bust open. Then it takes an extra day to re-pack and ship. There are a lot of variables when it comes to late shipments. Also, many times a zip code that is off by a number or two can delay a shipment a few days, costing our company a lot to re ship a few times. Just from my experiences working there (6 years), if your shipping something, double check the address, and use A LOT of packing tape.
