Upgrading stock 4300k HIDs to 6000k HIDS

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction in terms of what size bulb i would need to replace my current low beams from the stock gt-hid to 6000k aftermarket hids. and also, does install require me to drop the front bumper? thanks.

They are H7, and no, just remove the dust cover, unclip the retention clip on the blub, and remove. Thats the way it was on my Sport.

But he`s got a GT with factory HIDs.

I`d imagine the housings are slightly different.

Since you have OEM HIDs you need to get 6000k D2S bulbs. H7 is for halogen lights.

You might be able to do it without dropping the bumper, however it's really tight back there so you might be better off just taking the 10 minutes to pop the cover loose.
