B Balls MartyBalls : 03 Protege5 Aug 6, 2015 #1 Hey all, considering selling my 03 p5 and getting a 10 cx7. Has anyone upgraded the turbo in theirs? From what I understand, it's got the same engine as the speed3 with a smaller turbo. Thanks for any input while I try to figure out my next vehicle.

S sticka69 Member Sep 24, 2015 #2 I would recommend keeping stock turbo. it wouldnt be as quick as a MS3 due to gearing and ECM programming. might want to consider a bigger top mount IC, IC boost tubes, turbo inlet pipe and catback exhaust. Last edited: Feb 3, 2016
