Upgraded TMIC vs FMIC

hey i was wondering if there was a huge difference between an upgraded TMIC and the FMIC setup.

Conversely, for a FMIC you often have to cut into the front crash bar, relocate fluid reservoirs, run specific intakes, and the additional piping often leads to increased turbo lag.

Your boosted air temperatures will be lower, but it does not come without some sacrifice. It's also much easier to implement an upgraded TMIC.

TMIC FTW. Only time I see the benifit of having a FMIC is if your waiting in line at the track. TMIC has better throttle response and will run basically the same at peak efficiency (when car is moving). People say it heat soaks if your sitting at red lights / stop and go but its not like your going racing at those points so . . .

And if heat soak is that much of a problem for your TMIC, get the CF hood with a scoop. Should minimize it.

thanks for the help ... i think im just gunna go with the upgraded TMIC because it seems like the FMIC is a pain to install and u have to do too many mods to the car along with turbo lag. i also heard that u have to run a short ram intake instead of a full CAI like i currently have.

it seems like for a daily driver the TMIC is the way to go.
