Updating my interior..

Looking good man! I can definately go into my interior restoration with some confidence after seeing how good yours looks.

Thanks!,i will post more pics as i finish painting the rest of the pieces.
Thanks for looking at my thread.

Thanks ChristiansMSP!.
Updated pic of the interior pieces....

If anybody is going to try this,i will recommend to do the following:
1-wash the entire piece/part with warm water and detergent and let it dry.
2-apply 1 coat of Adhesive promoter spray(duplicolor),within 10 minutes apply a light coat of Krylon Fusion(for plastic) in the desired color.
3-Let it dry for an hour and repeat step 2.
4-i usually rpeat the process one more time 2 to 3 days after.
This is what works for me ,hope i can be of help to you guys.

Finally over with the interior, but there is always room for some more fun hehe.
After almost 2 weeks of splitting my time between family, work and car,the dash is back on my car.
This is no easy task and a painstaking process,so i want to especially mention ScratchNSniff who helped me on how to remove the dash.
Came out really good, had to fix some things i broke in the process of taking it out, some plastic pieces which i fixed with a product i use for modeling miniatures called "green stuff" and "zap a gap" cement.

I am in the process of adding the new carpet in my car,the old carpet had some holes and found water beneath the carpet on the passenger side,so decided to go ahead and use the duct insulation and new carpet (black0 to match the new interior.
The only trace of the old gray is still on the doors, which i will keep cause i like some contrast.
I highly recommend SEM paints,i think they are better than Krylon fusion for car interior and they have more color choices,of course, cost 5 dollars more than Krylon but worht it.
The emergency brake came out really nice when i painted black (Vinyl & fabric),it's a little bit of work to take it out of the brake handle thou.

I swapped my old shifter for a black one from a local junker few months ago,but it had some scratches and was already worn,so i decided to try paint my old shifter and came out really nice,3 layers of paint and left it to dry for 4 days before i put it back on my car.
Changed the filament bulb for a red # 194 LED,really makes a difference.

While i was in the process of painting my dash i took my spare cluster apart and took the paint or tint off the gauges with acetone,it's a process and you really need to be careful.
i screwed in some ares so i just did not have the patience and use the one i have now.
I will say if you want to change it to blue definitively you can do that, just take your time to do it.
When you finish taking all the "tint" off and replace the bulbs for the blue LEDs your cluster will look really nice.
If you do this please take a pic of it.
I always wondered why mazda don't make their gauges and needles more brighter, like i have a friend that own a honda civic and his needles are crazy bright, and is all stock.
